Longer pins reach deep into the coat to lift dead undercoat; shorter pins work closer to the surface to smooth the outer coat. The handle's lightening hole now houses a removable spray reservoir: spritz on a detangling mist, then comb it through in the same motion. Use it for heavy deshedding sessions or as a quick daily coat-refresh — the reservoir is entirely optional, on hand whenever you want it.
